An exclusive event was held in the Beverly Hills Hotel for stylist, tastemakers and denim damsels to sneak-a-peak of Textile Elizabeth and James.

The denim doctor called and girls were in line for an appointment, including Dakota Fanning, Emma Roberts, Abby Brothers, Deborah Ann Woll, Gillian Zinser, Who What Wears Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr and Refinery 29's Kate Mulling just to name a few.

I couldn't help but to remix Snoop's Gin and Juice to Jeans and Juice as I moseyed my way on over to the bar.

During my morning reading I came across an article in the Los Angeles Times Image section, talking about how MK and Ash will be branching out into the digital world.  With plans to launch an online shopping site StyleMint.com in July. Users will sign up, complete a "style profile," and for a monthly fee of around $30, receive a curated choice of items to purchase. This is similar to Kate Bosworth and Chris Coulter's JewelMint.com, which sends subscribers one piece of jewelry each month. [Telegraph] 

Can't wait to create my own style profile.  Love it.

Friends of NeverWood High and celebrity trendsetters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen introduced their new Olsenboye collection on Good Morning America. Today was also the release of Kellan Lutz's Calvin Klein underwear ad.  Lutz, 24, is one of four men chosen to represent Calvin Klein X -- a new range of briefs that will be marketed globally in the same campaign, encouraging their customers to "mark your spot."  Startng Feb. 15, you'll also see the men in action with video and digital components on a microsite devoted entirely to the undies (check out XMarkYourSpot.com after Valentine's Day).

Watch out recession... looks like Calvin Klein and JCPenney's figured out ways to boost our economy!

Tis the season...

Because that's exactly what NeverWood High did over the weekend at a holiday soiree hosted by the Hiltons at their private residence in Los Angeles.  The holidays are always a favorite time of year for me, they are filled with joy, laughter, celebration and eggnog with a splash of Brandy.  They always seem to bring everyone closer together, families, friends, co-workers, shoppers, children and dazzling sisters that turn the phrase "It Girls" into a powerful "Dynamic Duo".

But, one of my choice moments of the evening was the magnetic pairing of not one sister combo but two!  

There have always been those memorable Sister Moments, when a world ruled by maleness was suddenly challenged by women who grew up together and then took on that world together.

This synchronization of appearance and action has always made sisterhood fascinating. Whether in life, in the media, in books, paintings or films, we've never gotten enough of sisterhood.

Some say the sister protocol came from Truman Capote and his writing of, "the Bouvier Conspiracy" which was the occasion of Jackie and Caroline Lee Bouvier whispering to each other in public.  Thus drawing attention away from topics like the Cold War and mesmerizing peoples minds via beauty, glamour and several spectacular marriages.

Our world is full of champion sisters (Venus and Serena Williams), stylish society sisters (Samantha, Victoria & Vanessa Traina), supermodel sisters (Frankie & Missy Rayder), achieving sisters (Kennedys galore), old-fashioned diva sisters (Joan and Jackie Collins), art sisters (Lola & Stella Schnabel), the British sisters (Fiona & Olympia Scarry), the twin sisters (Charlotte & Samantha Ronson), the mogul sisters (Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen) and the entrepreneur iconic heiresses (Paris & Nicky Hilton) and on and on.

ITS A BIRD...ITS A PLANE...ITS OLSENBOYE!!!

Keep your eyes peeled for an Olsenboye truck cruising around New York selling merchandise and giving out cupcakes, balloons and pins. 

What is Olsenboye you ask?  Great question.

Olsenboye is Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's new junior brand that will be exclusive to J.C.Penney Co.  For the last several seasons, Penney’s has been unleashing new labels and designer exclusives while singling out brands that have lost relevance, striving to modernize its image, catering to more of a teen and contemporary crowd and offering something different.

If you remember awhile back we went to the I ♥ Ronson event in NY in support of designer Charlotte Ronson for her collaboration with the Penney's chain.

Olsenboye, which is the Olsens’ ancestral name, will fall into Penney’s good and better price tiers. Olsenboye is a casual sportswear and accessories collection that includes denim, bottoms, tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, jackets, handbags and shoes. The line will retail from $20 to $50 and is being designed to be mixed to create different looks. The brand also will periodically flow in travel-inspired mini collections, each reflecting the looks and trends of different cities. 

“It’s very fun, fashion driven, trendy and wholesome at the same time,” said Liz Sweney, Penney’s executive vice president and general merchandise manager of women’s. 

While it’s got the Olsens’ spirit, it’s not limited to their size, ranging from sizes 0 to 15. “It’s really important that Olsenboye serves lots of girls,” Sweney said. “It’s not just about girls size zero or one.”

Let's hear it for the boy...Olsenboye that is!  Congrats girls, you never cease to amaze us over at NeverWood High.

WHITNEY PORT OUT N ABOUT N THE CITY

We caught up with Whitney Port at the Standard Grill Beiergarten for the Calvin Klein party and she told us that she is loving her new life in The City.  Her advice on moving to NY was to definitely move when the weather is a bit warmer, so that you can ease into the winter.  Especially if you are from The Hills of Cali or anywhere on the west coast for that matter.

The night before we slipped into Calvin's we went to the Dsquared2 headquarters for designer twins Dean & Dan Caten,  who through a party in celebration of their new eye wear launch.  We danced the night away with Brad Goreski from the Rachel Zoe Project and had a chance to say hello to Rachel Zoe and her hubby Roger Berman who were also there in attendance.

My favorite thing about being in the city is that you can literally hop from one place to the next and somehow manage to see all of your friends.  When the New York kids on the block began to flood the streets in style,  is when you know your not in Kansas anymore Toto.  

NeverWood High would like to congratulate Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen on their party at Bergdorf Goodman's they through for their line The Row.  Friends of NeverWood High Matt Creed and Cassie Coane DJ'd the party, while champagne was passed amongst the guest.
