MTV PREMIERES THE HILLS & THE CITY...DID YOU WATCH?

The rooftop of The London Hotel in West HollywoodKristin Cavallari is back and ready for actionIf you watched the season premiere of The Hills last night, you would have viewed Kristin Cavallari exchange some words with Stephanie Pratt and Audrina Patridge on the rooftop of The London Hotel in West Hollywood.

and...

What better place for MTV to have their premiere party for both The Hills and The City, then on the exact rooftop these girls through down on.

The crew (behind the scenes) are like family to me as I've been there since day one and by day one...I'm talking about Laguna Beach.  I've seen this show grow from a behind the scenes stand point and even made some guest appearances on The Hills during my Teen Vogue days.

Kristin has always been one of my favorites and glad she's back on the show to spice up everyone's life.  All your favorite cast from both Hills and City were there and ready for some fun.

Whitney Port and Roxy Olin flew in from New York to attend this Los Angeles premier night for MTV.  They sat with Kelly Cutrone from Peoples Revolution and Co-Executive Spike (one of my favorites).

Always a big supporter of Adam Divello, the creator behind The Hills and The City and Executive Producer on Laguna Beach.  Adam has turned a hit reality show into a franchise and I'm excited to see what he has in store for us next.

What would the night be without catching up with Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.  Heidi was wearing knee high Christian Louboutin boots and showed us that her boots were definitely made for walking.  Controversial or not, I've always thought these two were fun, kept it interesting and are amazing at what they put their minds to.  I met Heidi through talent producer (of Laguna Beach and The Hills) Sophia Rossi, when she first moved here from Colorado.  As for Spencer...well lets say we've seen him be a Prince of Malibu to now becoming a "King", through a name change he did this year.

I have to admit it did feel a little weird as I stopped in my tracks on the rooftop side party...did a 360 of The Hills that surrounded us and was a little sad to see no Lauren Conrad.

But, you know what they say, THE REST IS STILL UNWRITTEN...

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY RUMER WILLIS

A Madonna look-a-like surprised Rumer Willis singing Material GirlWhat happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Well, not exactly in the 21st Century with Twitter, Facebook, Myspace and your occasional pesky paparazzi.

This weekend, NeverWood High decided to go for a little road trip with the top down, the music blasting and yelling VIVA LAS VEGAS. Saturday night, Rumer Willis celebrated her GRAND 21st birthday at TAO Nightclub at The Venetian. Just after midnight the festivities really began as friends and family danced to the tunes of one of our favorites, DJ VICE. By the birthday girl's side were her castmates from her upcoming horror flick Sorority Row-Audrina Patridge,  Briana Evigan,  Margo Harshman and Jamie Chung, as well as her very handsome boyfriend, fellow actor, Micah Alberti, who was there with his awesome family.

The Willis/Kutchers rock! One of the coolest and loving families I've come across. My favorite thing about them is that they support each other in every endeavor and Demi, Ashton, Bruce and Emma do it in style.

The weekend turned out to be a smashing success!!! I live for fun and let me tell you, it was FUN.

Special thanks to Deb Grimmel and her AMAZING team over at TAO, who pulled of a spectacular party and her husband Fred from Lavo, who introduced us to Chris LaBarbera from the ever so yummy Dos Caminos.

AUDRINA PATRIDGE & PARIS HILTON TAKE A BITE OUT OF CARL

I'm usually the one who gets sucked into some fad diet, thinking it sounds cool. Finding myself saying "oh, this one seems so easy and it seems to WORKS." In all honesty, I don't even need to be on a diet AND it's just me needing to educate myself on "Fact or Fiction" when it comes to food. Here are some facts below on questions a lot of us find ourselves asking.

Myth: Occasionally following a fad diet is a safe way to quickly lose weight.

Fact: Many fad diets are developed by people with no science or health background so some fad diets can even be considered harmful to people with certain health problems. When trying to loseweight, consult a registered dietitian.

Myth: Body weight is a reliable indicator of a healthful diet.

Fact: No two people have the same body composition. The measure of aperson’s diet and your overall health is a combination of factors, including weight.

Myth: Eating carbohydrates causes weight gain.

Fact: Calories cause weight gain. Excess carbohydrates are no more fattening than calories from any source. Despite the claims of low-carb diet books, a high-carbohydrate diet does not promote fat storage by enhancing insulin resistance.

Myth: Eating just before bedtime is fattening.

Fact: What you eat, not when, makes the difference; calories have the same effect on the body no matter when they are consumed. Evidence does suggest that eating regular meals, especially breakfast, helps promote weight loss by reducing fat intake and minimizing impulsive snacking.

Myth: Eating sugar causes diabetes.

Fact: Diabetes is caused by a lack of insulin in the body. Since foods that are high in sugar are often high in calories, overeating those foods can lead to weight gain. Research shows people who are overweight and obese are at increased risk for diabetes.

Nutrition: It’s a Matter of Fact

I think these commercials below are genius. Portraying hot bikini bodies and big fat juicy cheese burgers. Of course, some of us have to try harder when it come to working out and dieting. But, for the most part, eat healthy, don't stop eating your favorite foods and exercise.
