Any Vogue affiliated party, always.  A trashy fete thrown by your local Billionaire, ill take it!

Everyone knows the fun people rarely go out in Hollywood anymore, at least since Hyde Lounge back in 2006-2007.  But, last Thursday Derek Blasberg brought the class acts out from HYDE-ing.  

The "it girls", the socials, the important editors and my favorite "the euros!"

We started the night off at the new Missoni store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills for Derek's book party hosted by Kate Bosworth, Margherita Missoni, Nicole Richie and style.com's Editor-in-Chief, Dirk Standen.  After such a "CLASSY" celebration, VIP's went to Mr. Chow's where everyone definitely chowed down and drank up.

R.Kelly's song "Ignition" pretty much sums up how the rest of the night turned out...

Then after the show its the (after party)
And after the party its the (hotel lobby)
And round about 4 you gotta (clear the lobby)

For the past 10 years of my life, there has been one man who has made sure my Birthday parties were always legendary.  

That would be because Brent Bolthouse is one of the greats in the book of nightlife legends.  

1987 - Bolthouse moved to Los Angeles from Joshua Tree, California.

1989 - Bolthouse Productions was founded.

1991 - Bolthouse partnered with Jenifer Rosero.

2005 - announced a partnership and became SBE.

Dec. 18, 2009 - Brent turned 40.

And that my friends is what brought 22 years of friendships built in Los Angeles, to celebrate the birth of a man that created so many memories for myself and so many others.

Brent has cornered the LA market and maintained an unparallel reputation for entertaining the world's celebrities, taste makers and industry powerplayers with their weekly soirees.  On any given night Bolthouse clubs catered to Los Angeles' most diverse crowd; including executives, artists, pop stars, children of the rich and famous, Academy Award winners and the affluent general public.  

Worlds collide at Bolthouse clubs: Rap stars mingle with socialites and actors party with CEO's of Fortune 500 companies, making Bolthouse's velvet ropes the toughest line to cross.

I mean... where else would I have seen the Britney and Justin dance off, Prince sing Purple Rain, Drew Barrymore stamping wrists as a cashier, Leo Dicaprio rise to super stardom and a young girl who went by the name of Paris Hilton mesmerize a nation.  A place where Hollywood starlets were friends one week and not the next... (and then friends again).

These truly were places where everyone knew your name (or at least who you were).

For this I thank you Brent and wish you the happiest of Birthdays.  Because of you and Jen Rosero, I have some AMAZING friendships that started from a production known to the world as Bolthouse.

Known to me as family.

Leighton Meester singing "Good Girls Go Bad"This past weekend our favorite upper east-sider flew out to LA and gave the girls something to gossip about.  Leighton Meester gave a special performance at Playhouse in Hollywood, CA.  Leighton started out with "Good Girls Go Bad" and ended with "Somebody to Love".  

Known to most of us as Blaire Waldorf, Leighton showed the crowd there was more to her than some juicy text messages sent on The CW.  After the show a select few were invited to continue the party upstairs, were Jordan Masterson was dj-ing.  The upstairs area kind of had the feeling, like when Baby from "Dirty Dancing" walked into the cabin of seductive dancing and swaying hips.

When my feet weren't dancing, my fingers were snapping... snapping my camera that is.  Many friends of NeverWood High were out that night, including Brent Bolthouse, Lauren Conrad, Lo Bosworth, Devon Aoki, Trevor Donovan, Jessica Szohr, Alanna Masterson and Rob Mayes who was celebrating his birthday.

Some of you may know Sophia from her days as one of the producers on The Hills and Laguna Beach.

Samantha Ronson was on the 1's and 2's and when she played the song Male Prima Donna by Subtle Sexuality the crowd went WILD.  Including Lead vocalist and actress from The Office, Mindy Kaling.

NEVERWOOD HIGH WINS BIG AT THE 2009 EMMY'S

Twilight's Kellan Lutz walking the red carpet at the ET Emmy partyFinally, arriving back in Los Angeles after a long week of fashion in New York, there's nothing like remembering Hollywood Glamour then attending a Hollywood Award Show and after parties.  

We met up with friends of NeverWood High and Twilight star Kellan Lutz and headed downtown to the Vibiana for the Entertainment Tonight party.  Some of you may remember the Vibiana from The Hills, when Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port helped Teen Vogue with the Marc Jacobs fashion show and the Young Hollywood party.  Thanks to the lovely Lisa Love for scouting the place two years ago and making it a Hollywood stop off.  DJ Samantha Ronson was on stage filling the air with her tunes and giving us a quick lesson on the ones and twos.  Mary J. Blige soon took the stage and brought down the house.  Having run into so many familiar faces, we were excited to see actress Jessica Stroup from 90210 looking oh so chic.  The cast of CW characters were out and about and ready for a good time.  

Collecting friends along the way we headed over to the Pacific Design Center for the HBO party.  As soon as you entered the tent there was an enormous chandelier that hung from the ceiling.  Reminded me a bit of Independence Day and I was kinda hoping to be abducted...assuming that's were the VIP lounge was.  The champagne continued to flow, laughter filled the air, sounds of double kisses and awards bumping kept the excitement level high.  

Usually I prefer to travel non-stop, but on Emmy night we made every pit stop possible.  Our last stop for the evening was at the Chateau Marmont for the AMC party.  The ravishing guest crowded the garden under a star lit night and others danced the night away in the lobby.  

What can I say I'm a sucker for awards shows.  Well, for award show after parties that is!  The glitz, The Glamour and all the Razzle Dazzle in this lil town I love, called Hollywood.
