Ah!  This campaign is so fun, cute and whimsical...

The face of the new mischievous Nina Ricci's "Ricci Ricci" fragrance is non other than supermodel Jessica Stam.  Nowadays it's nice to see a model fronting a fragrance campaign instead of the ever so present celebrity faces.  

How fun would it have been to lived during the day of the supermodel, when they graced the covers of every magazine.  Karl Lagerfeld once told Time that he had declared the supermodels more glamorous than movie stars.  Although many models were referred to as supermodels during this 80's & 90's, only the so-called "Big Six" were officially recognized and accepted by the fashion world as supermodels: Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington.

American Vogue dubbed ten new models (including Lily Donaldson, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn and Jessica Stam) as the new crop of supermodels in their May 2007 cover story.

CHEAP THRILLS AND DIRTY RIDES IN MALIBU, CA

For a lot of people, Labor Day means two things: a day off and the end of summer. But why is it called Labor Day? Labor Day is a day set aside to pay tribute to working men and women and highlight the struggles of the American worker for organized rights.  It has been celebrated as a national holiday in the United States and Canada since 1894.  

Oh!  Wait...I guess Labor Day means three things.  Let's not forget about the Malibu Kiwanis' Chili Cook-Off and Carnival.  This is an annual tradition for those who live in the Malibu and Los Angeles area.  

While purchasing my cotton candy, I realized I was in the presence of a Super Model.  The one, the only, Cindy Crawford.  She was always one of my favorites with that big 90's hair and those sexy cut off jeans in her Pepsi commercial.  Whatever she is doing, she is doing it right!  Because, she looked like she is getting younger rather than older.

I have to say we had a Super Sunday, won a super man doll and cotton candied with a super model.
