Today's lesson: It's Kind of a Funny Story screening review.
Craig Gilner (played by Keir Gilchrist) is a 16 year old student who found himself one day dealing with the pressures of growing up.
One Sunday morning before his parents and little sister were even awake, Craig bicycled to Argenon Hospital and checked himself into a psych ward. Do to renovation the youth ward was currently closed and he found himself stuck in the adult ward.
He befriends Bobby (played by Zach Galifianakis) who gives him the low down on everyone in the adult ward and quickly becomes his confidant. Where he meets his new crush and fellow admitted teen Noelle (played by Emma Roberts) and soon forgets about his infatuation with his friend named Nia (played by Zoe Kravitz) .
On September 24th, I hope you all admit yourself into your local movie theater to see It's Kind of a Funny Story. This movie will make you laugh, cry and feel like your somewhat normal in this insane world we live in.
Take an adventure with these crazy characters who immediately grow on you and enjoy their journey with everyday life issues, we all have to deal with. OH, did I say the soundtrack was AMAZING!
Call me crazy... But, I absolutely loved this movie.
