An exclusive event was held in the Beverly Hills Hotel for stylist, tastemakers and denim damsels to sneak-a-peak of Textile Elizabeth and James.

The denim doctor called and girls were in line for an appointment, including Dakota Fanning, Emma Roberts, Abby Brothers, Deborah Ann Woll, Gillian Zinser, Who What Wears Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr and Refinery 29's Kate Mulling just to name a few.

I couldn't help but to remix Snoop's Gin and Juice to Jeans and Juice as I moseyed my way on over to the bar.

During my morning reading I came across an article in the Los Angeles Times Image section, talking about how MK and Ash will be branching out into the digital world.  With plans to launch an online shopping site StyleMint.com in July. Users will sign up, complete a "style profile," and for a monthly fee of around $30, receive a curated choice of items to purchase. This is similar to Kate Bosworth and Chris Coulter's JewelMint.com, which sends subscribers one piece of jewelry each month. [Telegraph] 

Can't wait to create my own style profile.  Love it.

Alexander McQueen on Melrose AvenueAlexander McQueenI was unable to make it to Paris fashion week to see Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2011 Womanswear Collection this past season.

But, when I got wind their was going to be an exclusive preview at the Alexander McQueen flagship in the heart of West Hollywood... I dragged me and my somewhat FDA approved Brazilian blowout to the presentation.

A solemn parade of show pieces made for a moving viewing.  

...and then it happened a few pieces from Lee Alexander McQueen's last runway collection made it's way through the sea of skull scarves.

Even though I was not there to experience the actual show in person, I still am truly blessed to view and be a part of something that came from the mind of a true genius.  

The evening was a an amazing celebration of the late McQueen's breathtaking beauties.

So beautiful, so sad.

THE CFDA'S VOGUE AT THE CHATEAU MARMONT

Designers Prabal Gurung, Joseph Altuzarra, Eddie Borgo & Christian Cota pose at the Chateau Marmont for the CFDA'sDesigners, editors and the fashionably fabulous came out on Tuesday to the 2010 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists Celebration with Frederic Fekkai and Lisa Love in Los Angeles.

The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund was established to help emerging American design talent find continued success in the business of fashion.

 The 2010 finalists included:

Altuzarra, Billy Reid, Christian Cota, Eddie Borgo, Gregory Parkinson, Loden Dager, Moss Lipow, Pamela Love Jewelry, Prabal Gurung and Robert Geller.

A fashion show was held inside the Chateau Marmont, which was followed by tea time in the garden.

I was introduced to Lauren when she was about 18 or 19 years old and she is still the sweet genuine girl from Laguna Beach I first met.  Now 24, with two shows under her belt, endorsement deals and her own fashion line... I've always admired how she's stayed down to earth and well grounded.  

NeverWood High helped Lauren blow out her birthday candles last Sunday at The Roosevelt Hotel Penthouse. 

NWH invites Lauren Conrad to teach a class titled "The Secret of my Success", next semester.
