NEVERWOOD HIGH'S FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER ♒

The ballroom at The Beverly Hilton for Clive Davis' Grammy party

Clive Davis giving a speechHey everyone,

I've been on a whirlwind of adventures in the past week and boy do I have stories to tell.

From the Art of Elysium's after party, to the Bahamas for Michael Jordan's Gold Tournament, then onto Clive Davis' Grammy celebration, singing Happy Birthday to Lauren Conrad and waking up today in Miami.

In the next couple of days I will post photos from these past events here on NeverWood High.  Along with a play by play of my week in South Beach for the Super Bowl.

Get ready to put in some after school hours for some extra credit, because this is going to be a busy month.

There's a lot happening this month, starting with Super Bowl, then off to Fashion Week, the Olympics in Vancouver and my birthday on the 17th.

Happy Jet-Setting!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK RONSON

Mark Ronson guest DJ's at East Village Radio in New York City

NeverWood High would like to wish Mark Ronson a very special birthday today.  The British music producer is an artist and co-founder of Allido Records.  Mark's first album titled Here Comes the Fuzz, was released in 2003.  The album featured artist Mos Def, Jack White, Sean Paul, Nikka Costa, Nappy Roots, Rivers Cuomo, Nate Dogg, Ghostface Killah and Trife Da God.

He has since produced multiple songs on the albums of singers Lamy, Macy Gray, Christina Aguilera, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, and Robbie Williams.

Soon after Mark released a cover of The Smiths' track "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before" under the title "Stop Me" featuring Daniel Merriweather.  Focusing on his production with Danielle Merriweather's debut album and recording again with Amy Winehouse and Robbie Williams.

This boy wonder then went on to win three Grammys for Producer of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Record of the Year (which he shared with Amy Winehouse).

Have the best day ever Mark and keep making that fun and amazing music.

Who thinks Mark should produce NeverWood High's alma mater victory song???
