Like the brand, the party was fun, free and classically stylish from every generation.

THE CFDA'S VOGUE AT THE CHATEAU MARMONT

Designers Prabal Gurung, Joseph Altuzarra, Eddie Borgo & Christian Cota pose at the Chateau Marmont for the CFDA'sDesigners, editors and the fashionably fabulous came out on Tuesday to the 2010 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists Celebration with Frederic Fekkai and Lisa Love in Los Angeles.

The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund was established to help emerging American design talent find continued success in the business of fashion.

 The 2010 finalists included:

Altuzarra, Billy Reid, Christian Cota, Eddie Borgo, Gregory Parkinson, Loden Dager, Moss Lipow, Pamela Love Jewelry, Prabal Gurung and Robert Geller.

A fashion show was held inside the Chateau Marmont, which was followed by tea time in the garden.

Leopards, Teen Vogue-ers and Berry Bellini's... Oh, my!

It was the perfect fantasy setting, with glittery leopards, gold shimmery roses and a decadent candle lit table that illuminated the swimming pool.

Mulberry held a private dinner party inside the castle in the hills, aka The Chateau Marmont.  

Guest purred there way to the seated dinner, were Fuji instant cameras and cat mask filled the table tops.

The food was served, the drinks were flowing and camera flashes filled the air.  Making one wonder what it might feel like if they were invited to the Mad Hatters tea party.

I couldn't have been happier with my seat assignment as I sat in between Teen Vogue's Danielle Nussbaum and 90210's Jessica Stroup, across the table was Natalie Love and Gia Coppola.

The celebration continued after dinner when Alexa Chung took to the DJ booth and party goers danced on a glitter filled dance floor.

Thanks Mulberry for such an enchanted evening and to Jessica Stroup for being an berrylicious date.

MTV has always been ahead of the game when it comes to illustrating issues of young adults on reality TV.  You may have heard of a little show called The Real World that first started back in 1992.  A series about 7 strangers that discussed sexuality, prejudice and substance abuse.    

Modeled after one of my favorite shows The O.C., MTV created what would be a decade of drama, romance and cast of characters that we would soon all fall in love with (or not).  

Congratulations to Liz Gately, Tony Disanto & Adam DiVello on introducing us to a young girl's life from Laguna Beach named Lauren Conrad.

A reality show to most, real life for me...

ALEXANDER WANG HEADLINES @ OPENING CEREMONY

Designer-Alexander Wang & Vogue's-Lisa Love @ Opening Ceremony

I'm usually excited for the Olympics, just to watch the opening ceremony.

However, the games definitely began not at the Opening Ceremony , BUT inside Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles with M.I.A., Humberto Leon and Carol Kim who hosted a dinner party in celebration for Alexander Wang's new collection of sunglasses for Linda Farrow.  

Gold medals weren't given away at the end of the night, instead guest walked away with luminescent silver sunglasses in their gift bags.

The long dinner table stretched out inside the store and sat sirens  such as Claire Danes, Ali Larter, Riley Keough, Erin Wasson, Rinko Kikuchi, Samantha Traina, Gia Coppola, Lawren Howell and Vogue's L.A. Queen Bee, Lisa Love.

The men that held court with Wang, were Marshall Heyman, Spike Jonze and Jason Schwartzman.

Congrats to Juliana Ribeiro and her team at Black Frame PR for such downtown NY event in the heart of LA.
