H&M IN THIS CENTURY

Attention west coast shoppers!

Yesterday I was having lunch in Century City and stopped by the all the shops on my way to my car.  I noticed a new H&M store opening up there TODAY.  They had a rack of magazines outside the store, I guess to help inspire customers to come back... AND IT WORKED.  Except I didn't go back, I just ordered online.  That makes a total of three H&M's in the Los Angeles area, making shopping very quick and easy.

But, I'm not gonna lie...

I did love when H&M was only in New York and there was a select few bi-coastal people and online savvy shoppers who could be found sporting their threads.

Speaking of coast to coast and then some, if you are in London tomorrow night - H&M will be celebrating their collaboration with Jimmy Choo.

NEVERWOOD HIGH STATE OF MIND

After being back in Los Angeles for a full week and now heading into the weekend, I have to admit...

I MISS NEW YORK!

One of the most powerful places in the world that can truly make you or break you.  Like Alicia Keys says, It's a "concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there's nothing you can't do" - "these streets will make you feel brand new, big lights will inspire you."

I truly think the song Empire State of Mind by Jay Z (featuring Alicia Keys), might be our generations New York, New York by Frank Sinatra - another favorite song of mine.

If you have a chance to find yourself in New York DO IT!  I know it's expensive, I know were in a recession and I know for a lot of you it seems so far away and unobtainable.  But, you have to get there somehow, you have to see it and you have experience why the saying "I Love NY" is so meaningful to so many people.

check out some of these sites for cheap tickets:

Side Step - is a favorite of mine, it compares all the other cheap websites

Kayak - is another good one

Bing - I haven't used this one yet, but it looks promising

Get there people by plane, train or automobile.

NeverWood High wishes you all a happy and safe weekend!

COURTNEY LOVE CREATES SPARKS AT ALEXANDER WANG'S AFTER PARTY

Designer Alexander Wang with bff Ryan CorbinOne of the best parties during fashion week would have to go to friend of NeverWood High, Alexander Wang.  Alex is an amazing designer who's designs are worn by the most recognized people in the world and can be found in just about any fashion magazine.

Not only are his fashion creations extraordinary, but Alex is such a fun-radiant person... which reflects on his party throwing abilities.  Wang, decided to rent out a gas station (how Zoolander of him) and invite every notable person in the fashion and entertainment industry there.

They drained the gas forty-eight hours prior to the show, just in case anyone dared to light up a cig.  But, the smoke didn't come from someone huffing and puffing, it was the electric presence of Courtney Love that created sparks around the party.

Some other dashing darlings that were in attendance were model Agyness Deyn, Janelle Monae, Kirsten Dunst, Lykke Li, Mischa Barton, Devon Aoki and Santigold who also performed later in the evening.

Way to start the night on fire Alexander Wang!  On a scale of low to high...

We at NeverWood High rate that party at a HIGH OCTANE level.

Our seat assignment was next to the way cool Logan Horne and his beyond rad bff Leighton Meester.

NeverWood High would like to give a big congrats to Vanessa Traina, who when put to the test...definitely proved that she can walk the walk.
