MADONNA STRIKES A POSE WITH TOM MUNRO

Tom Munro's photo book turned 2 Madonna's page in good company with Moet & ChandonTom Munro playing with Madonna's hair (photo by Alex Berliner)This past weekend during all of the Oscar madness, Moet & Chandon held a reception in honor of photographer Tom Munro.  The exhibit was held on one of Los Angeles most infamous streets Melrose Place in West Hollywood. 

The photos were amazing and if you were viewing them at the soiree...  You were either famous or wishing you were, just to have a self portrait shot by Tom Munro.

Some guest included Madonna, Dustin Hoffman, Justin Timberlake & Buzz Aldrin to name a few.

The exhibition continues through the 13th of March, at 8445 Melrose Place.  Proceeds go to Raising Malawi and M.E.A.K. with the purchase of one of Tom's photo books.

I could only have been so lucky to have had long time friend and one of the most sought after editorial and celebrity hairstylist in the industry help me on my birthday video invite.

Andy's work has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, GQ and W.  His reputation has earned him the opportunities to work with photographers such as Steven Klein, Mario Testino, Terry Richardson and A-list celebs such as Penelope Cruz, Selma Hayek and Madonna.

Johnny, the king of the Costume Palace, made his selects to dress the actors and models in this years birthday video invite for me.

When it comes to style, you can always count on Johnny who is dressed for success.

Wujek has worked with photographers such as Mark Lidell, Miles Aldridge and Giles Bensimon - with editorial work including Vogue, Elle, Interview, Cosmopolitan and V.  He's also dressed celebs like Katy Perry, Zac Efron, Giovanni Ribisi, Nelly Furtado & Amber Heard.  

Without these talented and AMAZING people I could have never created what was soon to be my best invite thus far.  Keep an eye out for future videos to come!!! 

MEET ANSEL ADAMS & HIS MAROON BELLS

During my snowmobile journey through the Maroon Bells, I kept having Déjà vu and flashbacks of having once visited this land before.  

Thinking I was one with nature and having some sort of epiphany on life caused from the familiarity of my surroundings.  It was then my guide told me, I was starring at one of the most photographed peaks.  

A favorite of photographer Ansel Adams.

Ansel Easton Adams (February 20, 1902 – April 22, 1984) was an American photographer and environmentalist, best known for his black-and-white photographs of the American West, especially in Yosemite National Park.

Adams founded the Group f/64 along with fellow photographers Edward Weston and Imogen Cunningham, which in turn created the Museum of Modern Art's department of photography. Adams's timeless and visually stunning photographs are reproduced on calendars, posters, and in books, making his photographs widely recognizable.

BRIDGET HALL ROCKS OUT LIKE JEM & THE HOLOGRAMS

Check out this video of Bridget Hall...it's super fun and sexy.  Reminds me of a real life JEM and the Holgrams.

A BIRDS EYE VIEW

Have you ever looked at the most simple thing and imagined it to be something great than it really was.  Well, that's exactly what Jarbas Agnelli did.

One day Jarbas was reading a newspaper,  saw a picture of birds on electric wires and cut out the photo. He then decided to make a song, using the exact location of the birds as notes. Knowing it wasn't the most original idea in the universe, he was curious to hear what melody the birds were creating.

That's when he googled the photographer and sent him the music composed by the birds, his research on the Internet lead him to Paulo Pinto (photographer).

The photographer (Paul) told his editor, who told a reporter and the story ended up as an interview in the very same newspaper, that Jarbas cut the photo out of.

The idea may not have been original, few ideas are...but to bring an idea to life...that's a story that very few people can tell...
