They had the time with a side of lime.

Guest signed the outside patio wall and low and behold, NeverWood High got a shout out.

HANGING OUT WITH MINDY KALING (AND OTHER CONCERNS)

Fine.  It was 7pm at The Grove and it had that Disneyland amusement park feel to it.  Holiday decorations everywhere, a flying Santa & reindeer, Gingerbread men chilling and the tween-queens joy riding on a double decker trolley.

All that was missing was a yellow brick road to lead us to the Emerald City aka Barnes & Nobles where Mindy Kaling was holding court.

Thousands came out to support Mindy's book, "Is Everyone Hanging Out With Me? (and other concerns)."  Fans held their copies of her book as they waited in lines that wrapped around the entire top floor.

Luckily enough we whizzed through the crowd.  As our posse was full of brains, heart and courage or in blogger terms - a BFF, a Style Rookie and a Knitting Goose.

NEVERWOOD HIGH TAKES A FIELD TRIP TO HELLO GIGGLES

It's that time of year again... SUMMERTIME!

Making a quick dash out the door... I grabbed my dog (I'm babysitting) and headed over to the HelloGiggles offices where they were enjoying Summer Fridays.

...and took part in one their impromptu Dance Parties.
