HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLAN LUTZ

The new face of Calvin Klein's underwear ad campaign turned 25 years old today.

Since the premiere of New Moon the hunky vampire has been busy filming other movies, signing autographs for Twilight fans, erecting billboards across the country and showing us that nothing gets between him and his Calvin's.

Keep an eye for Kellan's new films Meskada,  A Nightmare on Elm Street, Warrior, The Twilight Sagas: Eclipse and  Love, Wedding, Marriage.

It's always amazing when you see your friends become successful in all of their endeavors and life journeys.

...and it's a hell of a ride when they bring you along with them!!!

ANNA KENDRICK GOES 4 THE GOLD

NeverWood High would like to congratulate Anna Kendrick on her Oscar Nomination for her role in "Up in the Air".

Anna is up for Best Actress in a supporting role.  Nominations for the 82nd Academy Awards were announced Tuesday, February 2 by Academy President Tom Sherak and actress Anne Hathaway.

The Oscar telecast will take place Sunday, March 7 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.

Today was also the release of Kellan Lutz's Calvin Klein underwear ad.  Lutz, 24, is one of four men chosen to represent Calvin Klein X -- a new range of briefs that will be marketed globally in the same campaign, encouraging their customers to "mark your spot."  Startng Feb. 15, you'll also see the men in action with video and digital components on a microsite devoted entirely to the undies (check out XMarkYourSpot.com after Valentine's Day).

Watch out recession... looks like Calvin Klein and JCPenney's figured out ways to boost our economy!

NEVERWOOD HIGH CELEBRATES THE GOLDEN GLOBES INSTYLE

InStyle Magazine's Golden Globe party @ The Beverly HiltonEveryone wants to be in style or at least everyone I know.

But, last Sunday at The Beverly Hilton everyone wanted to be at InStyle Magazine's Golden Globe after party.  It was most definitely the place to be for winners, nominees and Hollywood's elite.

Mountains of Godiva chocolate filled the front of the party, before walking into the grand ballroom were party goers gathered under a colossal chandelier.  You got the feeling as if you had won the golden ticket and I couldn't have been more of a Charlie (Spanish version) in my chocolate factory. 

I had the opportunity to meet the Willy Wonka of the evening, InStyle magazine's Editor-In-Chief, Ariel Foxman via Entertainment Editor, Nicole Veccheralie.

Meryl Streep, Josh Brolin, Gerard Butler, Amy Pohler, and Olivia Wilde will be among the celebrities donating their outfits worn at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards.  Artist for Peace and Justice will auction them off to the public and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to help the people of Haiti in their incredible time of need.

The auction will start early next week through eBay— follow @artistsforpeace on Twitter for frequent updates.

YOUNG HOLLYWOOD GOES 4 SUSHI LAST NIGHT

At least once a week I hear myself saying "let's go for sushi".  But, last night apparently I wasn't the only one who sought after yellowtail sashimi.

Actors, models and publicist all attended the second annual Golden Globes Young Hollywood party at Nobu in West Hollywood.  Basically just another Tuesday night with some friends, lychee martinis and spicy tuna rolls being passed around.  

I'm definitely excited for award season to start, that's when I get to slip into my tux and out of mind.

Others who attended the party were Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Kendrick, Chris Klein, Ian Somerhalder,  Jessica Stroup, Jordana Brewster, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Nina Dobrev, Paulla Patton and Trevor Donovan.

Thanks to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, InStyle Magazine, Fuze and The A List for a great night.
